~ with Keith Haring at his Chicago mural project he made with school children in 1989. This was a magical day for me. It changed my life forever.
Drawing is an integral part of my artmaking process. I’ve been drawing since I was young and I am most at peace when I am drawing. My daily drawing practice is a direct connection to my innermost thoughts, ideas and emotions. In a world where words are often not enough, I find solace and comfort in the power of visual communication. Drawing allows me to communicate in a way that is raw, intuitive, and unencumbered by the limitations of language.
